Thanks again to Professor Angela Ocampo (University of Michigan) for presenting her project on US Latino attitudes towards policing and militarization in Latin America. Based on an original survey, she finds that the type and frequency of violence have especially strong effects on support for usage of the military and armed forces to address these violent episodes.
