This summer, the Global Diversity Lab hosted our second cohort of Pathways to Political Science summer research interns! The cohort included six undergraduate students at universities in Puerto Rico, Texas, Minnesota, Virginia, and Massachusetts; and two masters’ students at universities in Ghana. Interns assisted with GDL research and conducted independent research projects under the supervision of MIT Political Science faculty and graduate students. The program also included weekly research workshops and skills training sessions aimed at preparing interns for careers in social science.
The internship program concluded with a lively poster session where interns presented their work to members of the Political Science department. Read more on the department website.
Pathways@GDL is sponsored in partnership with the MIT Summer Research Program (MSRP) and funded by the Center for International Studies and MIT- Africa.
